Links with Image Gently
The IAEA and Image Gently support each other’s efforts to enhance the radiation safety of children.
Following the signing of an agreement between the IAEA and Image Gently, both sides have created links within their respective websites. This will complement the resources that are provided by the two organizations, and thus utilize the strength each side has achieved. While the focus of RPOP until recently has been to help health professionals achieve safer use of radiation in medicine for the benefit of patients, Image Gently has provided lot of information on what parents can do in addition to health professionals to lower radiation dose in imaging of children. Recently, RPOP has also added significant material on information for patients.
