The first training course on radiation protection for cardiologists was organized by the IAEA from 6-7 May 2004 in Vienna. This included cardiologists from 25 countries. Subsequently, a number of national and regional training courses on Radiation Protection in Cardiology have been organized as per details given in Table. After the first training course on radiation protection for cardiologists, which was held from 6 to 7 May 2004 in Vienna, different national training courses have been held in five countries. There was an average of 80 to 130 participants in the training courses, which included nurses and technologists in addition to cardiologists. The list of training courses is as follows:
