Meetings Connected with IRPA 12 in October 2008

A series of events are in the planning phase adjoining the IRPA 12 meeting to be held at Buenos Aires, Argentina, in October 2008. These include:

18-19 October 2008:

• IAEA Technical meeting on "Radiation safety impact of newer imaging and radiation therapy technologies in medicine".

13-17 October 2008:

• Meeting of the national coordinators of IAEA project on radiological protection of patients (RLA 9057).

18 October 2008:

• Seminar on sharing knowledge and regulatory experience in radiation protection of patients.
